Kicks, Giggles and 121 Days Until Life Will Never Be The Same

One thing is for sure -- having your first baby sure occupies a lot of your thoughts, if the previous few posts from my wife haven't already shown. It sure is what we talk a lot about these days. Approx 121 days and a little girl is going to pop right out! And I'm pretty sure she's there since I felt her kick for the first time just the other day!! I've posted a picture! Is it too early to be a proud father? She sure knows how to wiggle around. I tell Karen she is practicing her swimming moves. One things is for sure, she is going to like Karen's cooking. She always gets so exciting after a meal. Sure, it might be she's a little cramped, but I wonder if somehow she gets a small taste of it all. Although thinking about it, I hope it's not the same as the taste it has when it cames back up. Who knows what she will like then... Yickes! Maybe things like pickled beats! That would be crazy!

Well, I'm excited but I'm glad we have a little time yet because we've got to come up with a name. I don't know if it is this difficult for everyone, but PICKING A NAME IS HARD. We have a few names we like, but nothing has just clicked yet. Karen says it probably won't click until we see her. That may be true, but picking names has always been a difficult task for us. We learned this when we got our Dog. We called her Dog most of the time. Her name before we got her was Diablo, but she is anything but. We used her nick name Dee occasionally, and ended up calling her Dee-Dog. And finally it's just Dee. Well, that may have been more info than you wanted, but hey, I'm just making the point that picking a name isn't easy -- at least for us.

Well, approximately 121 days and we will really see her little feet. We'll hear her crys and giggles. And then we truly will be proud little parents.
